This White Silkie was evidently dumped on our property (probably by someone who knew we had chickens) and showed up on our back porch. He turned out to be a perfect gentleman. )

He's still just a baby yet at only 3 months old, and I know his color may change quite a bit once he gets his adult plumage (he's going through his first molt right now) but I think our Francis is one of the prettiest I've ever seen!

Those were actually taken a couple weeks ago and he's filled in a lot of green to his black even as he's losing his feathers in the molt. I caught this picture of his tail coming in and pretty saddle feathers today. I can't wait to see what he looks like I'm his big boy suit!

Everyone else's boys are making me want to start a bachelor pad just to keep some of these stunners!
