Okay, in the center we have "Blackjack", a self-black call duck drake from the Foleys, who is awaiting his new hen who is in transit right now (just posted about that).
To the left of him we have "Ritz", a Foley white drake who is named Ritz because, well, he thinks he's all that and a bag of chips besides! The only duck in my pen he won't challenge is Blackjack, who likes to live and let live and expects the same of others and can put up quite a scrap if they don't let him be. I don't expect we will have trouble pairing up Ritz with anyone because he already thinks they're all his anyway!
"Noisy" is the gray hen in the foreground, a Larry LaGesse bred female. She puts the "call" in call duck and I expect if we ever have a duck-call contest at a show, I will walk away with every prize if she has something to say about it, and she usually does! She wants to be Blackjack's hen but I think we have a gray male in her future. Hopefully Blackjack will like his new hen because he and Noisy are joined at the hip right now.
I think "Scrapper" is in the upper right corner but it's hard to tell. Scrapper is exactly what his name implies...he likes to pick an argument with anybody over anything! Food, hens, the pool, whatever...it will be good to get everyone into their breeding pens for the season because the drakes are all starting to get scrappy!
Those are the ones I can name off the bat...there are 15 of them so far and they move around a lot out there.
