Turkey coops/pens. I have 7 turkeys now(More on the way hopefully)and ive decided an 8' X 8' pen is not going to be big enough. I need to see pics/plans or else it will not register in my head, lol Thanks for your help

Well I have rough plans for a 12 foot by 14 foot mobile coop, using material from a mobile home. But I have not had the time to get all the materials from the mobile home yet.

So the turkeys are in the brooders pens untill I can get some coops done.

so we are converting an old Chevy Van we had into the Turkey coop for now.

I am also doing a smaller 4 x 8 coop for about that should also work for about 4 or 5 turkeys.

There is three main diffences between a Chicken coop and a turkey coop.

1. Turkeys require more floor space per bird
2. The turkey entrance is usually 15 x 15 to 18 x 18 inches vs a 12 x 12 inch opening for chickens.
3. the roost for turkey is usually 2 foot off the ground for the first row. and each roost board is at the same level.
