Show Quality?

I bought this Barred Rock hen as a chick from a breeder. They said that she was show quality, I even saw her parents and they looked to be. What do you guys think? Not the best photos.

You can't buy show quality chicks. The parents can be show quality, but that doesn't mean all of the offspring will be show quality. Just means a higher percent should be show quality.

Try asking on the barred rock thread, they should be able to tell you if she is show quality

She looks like a nice pullet. Give her time.

Her breeding looks good, but not likely good enough. Her barring isn't sharp, for one thing. Again, give her some time. Compare her to a pullet I held back last year. She is roughly the same age. Sorry you have to look through chicken wire at her, but if you eye is keen, you will see what a better bred pullet should look like at this age.
