A lot of us are getting interested in raising quail and I would love to see how you house and care for them.

A lot of us do something similar to a rabbit hutch. But depending on the breed, you can keep the smaller ones in parakeet cages and aquariums, all the way up to large open flight pens and aviaries. I use a rabbit hutch during the summer, and keep them on wire. In the winter, they're indoors on plywood covered with shavings. Figure about 1sf for each bird for coturnix or Bobwhites, at a minimum.
I don't have any pictures right now, but several people keep them and have some pretty slick housing.

BTW... they are so worth keeping. umbsubp
