Showgirl Babies!

our Dim-witted silkies babies hatched today,

one of our own standard eggs,a dn two cute little show-girl chicks!(not from our birds)

firstest, the oldest, one chick from our birds.

next, the 2nd oldest, the partridge showgirl chick

and last, the youngest, the funky looking whiteish chick with some tanish orange near the tail, and hips, and along the wings.

what color would that make it.


tomorrow morning I am going to let Juliet and babies out, I want to see how good of a parent she'll be this go round

I though NN's looked funny, Silkies just look goofy as babies, combine the two and LOL, a funnily cute baby!
 
you are in va, i am in va. where did you get your showgirls? did you have eggs shipped or did you p/u from some where close by?
they are so adorable!!!
the first time i saw these cuties i wanted one. i already even have a coop!

I just descovered that they're...kinda like silkies....DUMB

they just sit there even when Juliet does the "I GOT FOOD" call, half-ass as hers is LOL
 
Juliet is actually getting the hang of being a parent this go around!

I think seperating her, so there are no tempting eggs to sit has helped.

she's still not, the best, and sometimes forgets the babies are there and leaves them clear across the field but then hears them and is like "OH!" and runs back LOL
 
They are so adorible, great qulity in them too, nice big crest. That is always great to see in a babay silkie and showgirl.

The last one could be a white, they loose those colors as there feathers grow in.
If not then a splash with buff and white.
