What is bred to produce a showgirl?

bantam turkens (naked-necks) and silkies were used to create the Showgirls, I believe...

Oh, I don't think you can cross a naked-neck and a silkie to get a showgirl the first time around. I believe it takes a few generations to get them to breed true. There are some members on here that do breed showgirls. Hopefully one of them can help you out.

I dont think even after many generations you will ever get 100% showgirls. You will sometimes get fully feathered necks and I think you might get a few that are regular feathered since the NN will bring in the regular feathers and that will show once in a while. Good luck, Jenn
