Showing Emus at fair?

Hello, I’m new to this community! I have a question about showing Emus. Are you allowed to show them at fair? We are going to be getting emus next year and are hoping to show them at fair.

I think that would depend on your fair! Do others show emus at your fair?

At my fair yes, (you have to supply the extra fencing though to contain them compared to the peafpwl and guineas) but apparently my fair is very loose compared to most when it comes to rules

Check with your County Extension Office to see. I know in San Antonio, the 4-H clubs there had emus and even ostrich at their shows. In my little podunk town, all they could show were broiler chickens.
