Hey, I have only really been learning about chickens for about five months and haven't really thought about learning on the topic of 'showing' chickens. I have a few questions about showing chickens and I hope you can answer them.

1- First off; do you get money? How does the showing work? Are there prizes or winners? Does it cost you money? Do you enter or are you just picked? Are there judges?
2- What breeds of chickens can you show?
3- Where do you go to show your chicken?

1- First off; do you get money?Yes How does the showing work?Depends, do you wanna do Showmanship, cage showing, or both? Are there prizes or winners?Yes Does it cost you money?Yes Do you enter or are you just picked?You enter Are there judges? Yes, usually one
2- What breeds of chickens can you show? Any except for mix breeds
3- Where do you go to show your chicken? You choose one for Showmanship, that is where you standat a table and the judge comes around and asks you questions. The other you choose as many chickens as you want, and they sit in a cage. The judge will come around and put on a card thingy hung on the cage how close they are to the actual breed
