hi all.
I have just hatched a Aylesbury duck ( hes 1 week old)

. I just wanted to know how old he has to be when he can show and if i need to be in any clubs to show him.Also any tips will be fab too.

Also do i need to worm him or anything elce at 1 week old i have tryed to research it but cant find anything on it.
thanks p.s its my first time keeping duck so any advise will be grateful

I know nothing about showing, but just wanted to congratulate you on your duckling and say it doesn't need to be wormed. ducks in general don't get worms unless kept in nasty conditions. So just feed and water and watch it grow, And a pic would be nice too!

4 months is the usual age to begin showing. You will want the bird to have all his adult feathers in. You do not have to belong to a club to enter their show.

If your feeding anything other than starter I'd offer some now, just sprinkle in the bottom of the brooder it will get what it needs. But if you only feeding starter then you don't have to. but you might want to get some Brewers yeast to sprinkle on top of it's feed to help with the niacin it isn't
