Shrimp - yay or nay?

I bought some fresh shrimp for supper tonight... and was wondering if it would be ok to feed the heads to my flock. And if you agree would you cook them or not?

P.S. Said heads are still on ice just in case you say 'yay'.

Id cook em and eat em.... ahem. Yep Id cook em but honestly you can make a great shellfish stock from the heads. Then after you make the stock then feed em to the chooks.

I've fed them both raw and cooked.. just remember if you use a really salty seasoning you should rinse some of the salt off before feeding the scraps to the birds

I was just reading in the forums today that chickens LOVE seafood raw or cooked. Today I gave my chickens a fish I caught in our river last night. I sliced it open so it would be easier for them to get at but it was raw and they absolutely went crazy for it!

We fish with live shrimp and always feed the girls the leftover bait. It makes for a fun game of chicken football!!
