There is hardly any information on these chickens! I’ve got a pair from tractor supply, saying they are pullets claiming they are auto sexing. But I’ve searched the web so much, and can find but a few articles on this breed of chicken. They are 5 weeks old tomorrow, and look the dang same (well one has slightly darker neck feathers) so I’m hopeful for pullets. One, however, will do the treat call and bring the other chicks to see what they have found. Is this normal for pullets? Ha! Both are very sweet and very calm. Very pretty, too, I can’t wait to see them mature into hens.

For 5 weeks old, everyone’s combs/wattles are still yellow so crossing my fingers, I’ve already got two roo’s and can’t have more.

I looked for younger pictures but couldn't find anything helpful. Here's my sicilian buttercup hen at about 5 months old. She's probably my friendliest, most personable bird. I do hope you have pullets (and I don't see anything to suggest otherwise.) You'll like them.

Oh she is beautiful! I also have a speckled Sussex! (She’s nestled in between my pair and GSL) Ha! The buttercup pair I have are so dang sweet, they always want to be on me when they’re having outdoor time, and the easiest to wrangle up. Sweet little girls
