Sick Bird

Have a hen that's almost 2 yrs. She has become lethargic and lays around a lot. Her crop seems empty, she doesn't seem to eat when the rest do. She does have a swollen abdomen that's soft - not hard. Her skin is red. We cleaned her vent and put her in warm water for a little. Her stools are runny. Any answers would be helpful. Thanks!

Could be worms. Have you wormed your chickens? If you havnt, I'd recommended it. Start out with wazine first.
