Just got chicks for my first little flock. My mom always had chickens while I was growing up. The one Silver-laced Wyandotte is acting really funny. Super tiny, much smaller than the others, wont open its eyes, even when handled. Stands very wobbly, wont walk around. Gave her water on a spoon which she drank and a little crumb of food. I am not sure if it is sick because of not eating, gettting picked on or if she at some point got too cold. I have a light on them but the others seem to get too hot while that one has parked itself in the middle of the little area under the light. The others step on it and pick at it. Should I take it out? I kind of think I should but have very little experience with chickens. Cattle and dogs are more my area:/ Any suggestions? Oh and they are on medicated food, no vitamins yet, getting those tomorrow.
