Hi,
Yesterday I got 8 chicks (4 black copper Marans, 2 splash marans, and 1 black ameraucana), last night they all looked fine so I just put the heat lamp on them, and let them be. But then I went to go check on them this morning, and one of the black copper marans was laying down on its side with a wing, and a leg in the air. But it was still chirping. So, I took it in and gave it some sugar water. What else should I do?

You started your thread in the new member intro section of the forum and that is why you got a greet. The emergencies section would be a better place to post any questions about sick chicks or chickens. Here is the link >
