Sick Chick! Please Help!

Hi,
Yesterday I got 8 chicks (4 black copper Marans, 2 splash marans, and 1 black ameraucana), last night they all looked fine so I just put the heat lamp on them, and let them be. But then I went to go check on them this morning, and one of the black copper marans was laying down on its side with a wing, and a leg in the air. But it was still chirping. So, I took it in and gave it some sugar water. What else should I do?

Oh I'm so sorry you lost that chick. From the way you said it was laying, you could tell it wouldn't survive.
