my chick kiwi who is about 4 and a half weeks old has been having drool but more like mucus in her beak for 2 days now, someone said they think she may have had a seizure or something of the sort, but im not sure if maybe she is sick. I woke up today and was checking her only to find her beak was almost pasted shut with mucus and after i got it all off (its thick) she was able to chirp but kept blowing mucus bubbles. I have her separated from the other chicks and shes freaking out from being isolated. What do i do? i put a small amount of oregano in her water which seemed to help my other chickens when sick, but ive never seen this please any help is needed.

Is she sneezing or wheezing, or acting like she has a respiratory issue? It sounds like she may have an infection of some sort that this is continuing.

I'd keep her separated and push fluids, especially water with vitamins like poultry cell and probiotic powder. Alternate the days of each of those. Pushing fluid will thin the mucous, the probiotics will give her good bacteria to help fight, and the vitamins will give her body a boost to fight off whatever this is.

Antibiotics might be needed if this doesn't improve but I'd give her a few days trying this. Can you put her by a TV or put a radio by her for some noise? That might help calm her down.

i havent noticed wheezing or sneezing but i have heard her cough which could be a sneeze idk😂 and i could take a picture of her beak. I have her outside in a small pen with some electrolyte water and a fan on low, i had given the supplement to her the first day you said to and yesterday she had little to no mucus, but i also let her run around with the other chicks in a little grass patch enclosure we built for them that same day so hopefully nothing intensified her condition. Today the mucus is more sticky so i continue clearing that for her. Thank you for your advice i will def make sure she has plenty of water and i will buy some vitamins and probiotics for her which will also just be good to have on hand lol
