I have a weak chick that I ended up having to help out. She pipped out the wrong end, took 2 days and no progress and she is very weak. I honestly didn't expect her to make it through the night but she's a fighter. She has goo stuck all over her and in the butt area. Should I clean her up, especially in the bum area or leave her be?
She can't even stand up yet.

Sorry, we tried that a couple of times, and the chix lasted a day or 2, but never made it. Good luck.

i'm not that experienced with this. i would take a warm wet wash cloth and clean it's butt.
i would mix sugar and water and give it to the chick by mouth with a dropper or syringe.
i would make sure the chick stayed warm.
