I have a 1 year old Buff that is walking very low almost crawling and wants to sleep a lot.
She seemed fine yesterday. She had a regular poop this morning that stuck to her feathers because she is not using normal posture to poop. She felt like she had a solid mass in her crop
so I have been giving her olive oil and water and massaging the crop. This seemed to have helped with the crop some but there still feels like there is a ball of Hay.
I do use Timothy hay as a bedding and her poop had lots of green hay and white normal stuff.
I dont feel an egg being bound and I will be getting some gloves to do an exam.
Please help ! Is she egg bound or crop impacted or what ?
I want to give her the correct treatment.
