My Rhode Island Red has had all the signs of illness, separated from flock, listless, etc. Brough her in the house last night and have her in a dog crate. I immediately noticed water like fluid with a yellow blob in the crate, several of them. Gave her baby vitamins last night and put electrolytes and probiotics in the water. Last night she ate a little. Today she has not eaten or drank water. I gave her a epson salt bath and cleaned her dirty vent (white and crusty), she seemed to like being in the warm water. , her and put her in crate. Used eye dropper and gave her some olive oil and some apple cider vinegar . Felt like she could have sour crop as that area was bulky. Put her head down and rubbed crop, after a few times, she did vomit green matter. After her busy morning of me messing with her, she put her head down and laid totally flat not moving but I could see her breathing because her tail was moving as she breathed. I thought she was dying. Then after an hour or so, she opened her eyes and stood up, low but stood. Slowly turned around and laid back down. I have observed that every time she takes in water,(I gave her some from eye dropper) it immediately peas it out with more of the yellow blob. This is what is concerning because she will dehydrate. Looked on line but can't find anything about this problem (water in-water out)Has anyone experienced this type of thing, I don't know what to do if she isn't holding water. Suggestions or Experiences appreciated.
