inhave a 6mth old polish hen. She was injured a month ago by a coon trying to get in the coop. She had a droopy right wing but was still eating and drinking and free ranging no serious open wounds to treat. About 3 days from the attack she started acting sick, no longer eating and drinking and was laying around isolated. I seperated her from the others and noticed her wing had a fowl smell. Started cleaning with peroxide and then used vetracine only. She was sick. Every day I thought she had passed but she was hanging in there. I hand fed her and water her. Now she is eating and drinking on her own but not standing and has one leg split forward. She can not stand. I did notice she has the weird gray bugs on on her (no idea no one else has them). Not sure what to do to help her. I add vit/min/elect to her water and she drinks really well. Any advice is appreciated!
