Hello,
The chicken is more than 2 years old, she has been quite all day, since this morning.
She has been standing strange, and barely walking and eating.
*Pictures and video attached.
Last time she laid a egg was yesterday morning.
I would like some help in diagnosing the problem.
Thank you

Can you gather her up and examine her more closely?

I'm like @chickens really and would like to know what's on the rear end. If that is a soft shelled egg membrane hanging out, there's your problem. Soft shelled eggs can be hard to expel.

Her hunched up appearance, she may be egg bound - it's hard to tell - a soft shelled egg can make them do that too. Give her a soaking in a warm epsom salts bath, do what you can to get her hydrated and get some calcium into her. 1/2tablet of Caltrate or a crushed up Tums works well.

Hi sorry...
Ur chicken feeling sick I would like to know how her poop looks like

To me her stomach seems so much enlarged with fulid and I'm quite sure she's having water belly

@Eggcessive
@staceyj

@TwoCrows
She's been in a position of pooping for a while. She tries to poop but nothing comes out and during her pushing, she makes a sound - sound of pain i'm guessing.

Might of passed the soft shell but egg bound with the shelled one...

Thank you so much, I'll try that.

She is not able to poop?

Bring her in and soak her in epsom salts for a few minutes. Glove up and with a lubricated finger feel inside her vent for a stuck egg. If she has an egg that is low and she is not able to poop, that is not good. Lubricate just inside the vent with a little lubrication.
Dehydration can make it hard for them to pass an egg. Offer her water, but don't stress her. Do what you can to get calcium into her, that helps with contractions.

Tums can help if she will drink them dissolved in a bit of water..
I do use TUMS, but have found it will not dissolve in water:he I have tried many ways, it makes a powdery sludge. Better to crush it finely and stir into some yogurt, roll it into some scrambled egg, piece of cheese or something similar.
