I am a first time chicken owner and last night I noticed one of my girls had less energy than the rest. Her head was dropping sideways and She would sway too the right and lay down. This morning she was o the floor of the coop instead of her normally roosting place. She is barley opening her eyes and has very short shallow breath. How can I try and help her. She is 13 weeks old. I have checked and no wounds. No wheezing just short breaths. Yesterday morning and the evening before she was perfectly fine. All other birds are normal. Please all advice appreciated.

My broiler chick keeps bringing out foamy saliva from its beak and liquid from eyes
There is also swelling around its neck and crop side

Do you have any corid on hand? You might want to treat her with corid, just in case coccidiosis is a factor.
I went and got corid. I had to administer it by syringe but she got it. She still is in pretty bad shape and this afternoon we found another weak chicken. Not as bad yet, so I am treating the water for the 4 girls in the coop/run. Can you advise on administering the corid to the Flock. It’s in there water and two drank a bit Of it including the weaker one, but two are not interested. Also if administering by hand how much and what ratio do you recommend? I’m in shock. They have all been doing so well. No signs of illness or lack of energy until it hits. Then she turned fast.

Another thing there is no bloody poop. Her eyes or nose are not seeping fluids and no other physical symptoms other than being lethargic. I wet her food and if I can keep her awake she eats it. Water only by hand though.

For corid for the whole flock, treat 2 teaspoons per gallon. How has the weather been? @aart - do you know anyone who could give some tips, or help diagnose the problem?
