I had just decided to ask a friend to euthanize her, and she died on her own sometime this morning. I’m relieved it’s over, and glad that it doesn’t seem to be something that’s going to affect the entire flock.

I'm very sorry for your loss.
The unfortunate and difficult part of keeping chickens.
The hardest part of keeping them is getting attached and then having to say good bye.
She's not suffering, so that's a good thing.
