So we had a speckled sussex die a few weeks ago, she was acting abnormal for maybe a week. Slow, not following the group going to and from coop / food. The night before she died she refused to come out of a huge pine tree and stayed the night there because I couldn't get her out.
Flash forward today and I now have a slow and confused cream legbar. Slow to come to and from coop / food. Her comb is lighter and I can grab her easy..
Dont want another dead chicken. We've had mites but at the moment they are resolved. No foot issues, her vent looks normal. Seems mostly neurological. Not sure whats going on or how to prevent spread if contagious. We have 10 adult hens and 10 young 1-3 month olds.
Any help / insight appreciated.

I agree with @WhatsUpDuck, I am thinking something to do with heat... Can you feel her crop? Is it soft? Hard? Empty? Full? If its soft, does it feel like there is water in it?? It's possible that she isn't getting enough fluids in hot temps, so I would bring her inside and start giving her electrolytes water by syringe.
