My 3.5 year old sapphire gem, Mabel, isn't doing so hot. She has isolated herself from the flock, and I noticed she is very skinny. I thought maybe she was getting older and tired and had enough of the boys BS 🤣

However, shes not eating much, will drink a bunch when offered. I gave her a little scrambled eggs with peas and nutridrench last night and she took three of four bites. Her poop is liquidy green and I found a bit of bumblefoot on one paw. However last night I noticed her pupils are unequal. She seems to react to my hand from both sides so can see but this is concerning. Thoughts?

I would suspect an eye injury that has blinded her, and made her pupil that way. Usually with Mareks disease, the pupil may be small and irregular but the colored iris is dull or faded gray. Could you post a picture of her other eye? She may not be able to see well enough to eat. She may be low in the pecking order and feeling like an outsider, and not getting enough to eat and drink. Poop pictures are welcome. Does she lay eggs anymore? Try adding a little water to a small amount of chicken feed. Scrambled egg bits, tuna, or ground meat can be a good addition to her feed, but don’t overdo it. Chicken feed has most of what she needs.

Other pupil is fine. She can see because she responds my hand on both sides. Shes never been low on the pecking order, she was always the "bad b****". Shes super skinny, I can feel her breast bone so something has been happening for a bit before she decided to isolate herself. We don't really keep track of which eggs come from who but I haven't seen an egg from her in the last few days that shes been on her own.
