sick chicken

what should i do if the a chicken just sits in one place the whole day. the other chickens put the eggs under her. she will walk out side if i put her out and the other chickens peck at her

She's probably broody. If so, Shes not sick, she just wants to hatch out little chickies

we don't have a roster so it that still possible? will she grow out of it? how long will it last?

she is a blue cochin. she is only 7 months old

Yeah cochins tend to go broody, and thats about the right age

so she will not lay any more after a month?

If they have gone broody they expect to sit on a clutch for 21 days or so. So if you break the broody cycle you will still have a few weeks without eggs from her, generally about one month has been my experience with silkies.
