I have a brown leghorn that is not herself today. When i got home from work today i went to check on them, one of my brown leghorn hens was laying under the coop with her head in the the hole of a concrete block. I didn't think anything of it just thought she was resting. I went out tonight to close up the pen and she was still laying in the same spot. It is dark and the other birds are in the coop roosting, she is not. I picked her up and tried to get her to stand, she just sat back down. I decided to leave her out of the coop tonight in case she is sick. I have not noticed anything with any of the other 35 birds. Any thoughts?

I have no idea what the problem could be but I would recomend to seperate her from the flock as a preventative measure. Any other symptoms?

Not yet, just seems really lethargic.i plan on moving her, just need to find a place to put her.

ok, i just noticed something else, not sure if it's anything, but, her comb is not standing up. I went out to feed my birds this morning and all their combs are standing straight, hers is not. I tried to get her to drink and she wont. I scrambled some eggs last night and put in there for protein but she hasn't touched them. All she does is lay and pant.
