My 2 year old Bard Rock has been listless off and on for the past few month though she has been looking good recently. Today, she is just sitting in the run and when I picked her up, I noticed that her comb was bleeding and her wings and tail were drooping.
Any suggestions? She stopped laying a long time ago as well. Every time she gets listless, I think she has one claw in the grave, but she always rebounds and not due to anything I am doing for her.
Any input would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

I don't know about the bloody comb, but until someone comes along who can maybe help you with that, have you tried giving her vitamins and electrolytes?

You can get them at your local feed stores. What I like and I know a few
Other people that use it is Poly-Vi-Sol. It's made my enfamil and you can get that at cvs or Walgreens, wal mart has it as well.. Its in the children's vitamins section. I mix some in their water. If I have one that's feeling bad I will give her a few drops of just the vitamins to. It has worked wonders with some of my girls. If you get the poly vi sol make sure it's the on that's iron free. I hope this helps. :)

If she is bleeding, you should separate her from the rest of the chickens, if she isn't already.
In my experience, when one chicken starts bleeding, the other chickens will peck her non stop, and it will get worse.
