Yeah its really weird.... i figure i will take it day by day and if she starts acting normal, pooping normal and eating on her own enough to sustain her its back to the coop with her!. I checked on her an hour and a half after i fed her and her comb was standing up straight and completely red. What a crazy confusing little bird....

That's a really good sign ... hopefully, she'll just reabsorb whatever's w/in, and w/o causing any additional problems to deal w/ later on.

I really think she is okay! I just went out to see her and she is drinking and eating regular layer pellets like a pig (well, like a chicken normally eats) and is pooping normally! Her belly seems less enlarged and she sure is back to her perky chicken self! Happy new year at the homestead! Maybe it was worms since yesterday was her third dose of wormer.... Anyway THANK YOU ALL for your help through all of this! (My only concern now is, she hasn't laid an egg since I put her in solitary... normal since she was so sick and normal if it was worms?) Happy New Year!
