Sick chicks

How long will it take for tynal to work on your chicks?
Welcome To BYC!

Can you give more information?
How old are the chicks?
What are their symptoms - tell us about their illness. Coughing, sneezing, wheezing, mucous, bubbles or pus in the eyes, facial swelling, lethargy, etc.
Provide some photos of the chicks and their poop, please.

You have Tynal in your post - do you mean Tylosin (powdered Tylan), Tylan50 or 200 (injectable)? A photo of the product you are asking about would be helpful too.

Hopefully with more information and photos we can answer some of your questions and offer suggestions.

Well, it depends on the cause of the respiratory symptoms.
Mycoplasma responds fairly well to antibiotics like Tylosin, so without any complications or secondary infection, then likely you will see improvement in several days.
There's a number of respiratory diseases that chickens can have - both viral and bacterial so if you are dealing with a virus, the antibiotics won't help much.

Oh that’s cute! Was that at the vet’s office?
Yes it was she’s sweet and I love her she’s great with the all my other animals she’s the only vet around me that deals with chickens and sadly doesn’t know a lot about them. I’ve had a handful that have been sneezing, snotty eyes sometimes stuck closed I had some liquid antibiotics in hand left over from one of my children and I’ve kept them alive with that but could never get them over the hump and fully well, so i broke down and spent a small fortune and took them in to get the script we are two days in on the powder added to waters and was just wondering when i would see a turn around.
