I purchased 3 Marans and 1 Easter Egger from a local poultry show in March. One of my cuckoo's died at about 12 weeks. Both cuckoo's appeared to have a gasping for air at times, but became active. At 18 weeks another cuckoo and Copper Marans has become ill. They hold their wing down to the ground, have green diarrhea at times, has sort of a cough. I have research and none of the symptoms seem to fit any one illness. I started giving a sulfa antibiotic as a desperate measure. No real results yet. The EE is just fine as well as my year old chicks. I sure hate to lose these special birds. I was told to give cod liver oil, but am reary of overdose. Vet help is off the charts. Anyone have any experience with this or any suggestions as to which disease we are talking about here. The one healthy EE turned out to be a Roo.

I don't know what the diagnosis is, but I will give you this information:

Rule out moldy feed and coop for sure. Green diarrhea can be from not eating properly. I have seen all those signs you mentioned with moldy feed from ground ingested and moldy coop. :(

If it is aspergillosis then there is nothing to be done for them as far as I know.

If it isn't mold related then I don't know what to recommend:

Oh and you might consider gapeworm (makes them gape)??
