Sick cocktail

Help, my cockatiel is sick, I’ve been meadicating it’s water for about 6 days he’s been separated from his friend for this period and he still looks terrible, he is wild and nasty to hold makes me bleed if I pick him up so I don’t know what to do!

What are you medicating with? What is it eating? Does it have toys in there?
Do you have any good avian vets around?
How has the air quality been? Perhaps his respiratory system was overwhelmed during the brushfires.
