Upon inspection its not pasty but but appears the insides are coming out. Common? What to do?

If it is yolk sac that did not fully absorb it will likley dry up and fall off. If it is actually intestine from the unbillicus then I would put it down. Sorry no one has answered this, I'm not on very often but I know these situations can be stressful if you have not experienced it before.
