I have 13 ducks and justbin the last 48 hours one of my drakes has secluded himself. He is hiding in the back of the pen, not swimming and not socializing at all. I haven’t seen him eat but he is drinking in small amounts. He had a poop that was mint green and me keeps finding a spot to lay down and close his eyes. I just noticed he is sounding a bit wheezy.
I have a separation in the pen now so he can still see the other ducks but they can’t get to him.
He has lots of fresh water and his own food.
We just added a new oat mixture to their food so I have no idea if this is related?
I also have left over antibiotics from a prolapse with a male recently. Should I try to start him on antibiotics or just take him straight to the vet? Anything I can add to his diet to help??
Thank you in advance!
