Sick duck?

Hi all,

I am writing to you with a bit of concern. I noticed that all three of my ducks have begun to molt, and for about a week, one of my girl ducks is acting strange. She is very sleepy/lethargic and keeps moving/twitching her bum up and down strangely. It almost looks like she's baring down on an egg? However, I know she is not egg lodged because she has stopped laying eggs for a while now. Has anyone ever had a similar experience? Could it be that she is sick and near the end of her life?

Alright.. what kind of ducks? Buff orpingtons? How old is she? Is her abdomen swollen looking? Is her vent moist, dry? During a moult they might be a little less energetic if their body is focusing on rapidly growing new feathers. If your other two ducks look fine, maybe provide her with some vitamins to help her, or some probiotics (yogourt, etc).
