ducklings they were all fine yesterday. This morning one is on its side. I went out and noticed its head is bobbling, not drinking when offered water, and is lethargic. My husband put down the mixed flock food. I said they could choke on that and took it inside and ground it up. The other ducklings are fine. Do you think it has an impacted crock?

Keeps wanting to go back. we are giving it drops of water with yogurt but then it throws its head back and forth

It looks as if she is suffering from wry neck. Could you pick her up some Human vitamin E soft gels capsules that contain 400iu each, and some Vitamin B complex that contains thiamine, Durvet Cattle B injectable is the brand we recommend. Some scrambled eggs in the meantime would be good, you'll have to offer her food and water often since she can't on her own. Try to let her drink the water by herself, giving too much fluids orally can aspirate them quickly if given incorrectly which is easy to do.
