I have a BEI duckling hatched on Monday that isn't looking so great. Hoping I can help her! When I picked her up, I was told she was the "more docile" of the pair, but has just gotten quieter and quieter and is now sitting more than not. When she does get up and move around, she's unsteady on her feet. When we first put them with our Wednesday-hatched duckling, the wobbliness and need to take a lot of naps blended in, but now the baby of the group has caught up to her in size and is as active as the other BEI.
She's also been clicking. At first seemed like the noise would just come and go after eating/drinking, but it's been pretty consistent this morning.
And she has a slight curve to her upper bill which is maybe a little shorter than the lower one.

She's such a sweetie. I'd really like to figure out what's going on so I can help her!

Hi, Do you have a poultry vitamin or an electrolyte you can give her, If not I would get some, you can try offering her some mashed scrambled eggs for a little boost as well.

I have Save-A-Chick electrolytes and probiotics and Nutri-Drench. I've put some of all three in the water at different times but wasn't sure about how much.
The Nutri-Drench said 1mL per 3 lbs when you're using it medicinally (as opposed to just a preventative or tonic) which seemed like it would work out to such a tiny dose for a 35g duckling that I was nervous about overdosing!

I gave my Runner duckling scrambled eggs when they were suffering from shipping stress. They didn’t get chick grit till they were a week old and I gave them some mealworms. Wouldn’t hurt to go ahead and get some though.

I give weak chicks just a few drops on the side of the bill, you shouldn't have any problems, just give them time to get everything down. Eggs aren't really fibrous or tough so digesting it should be fine without chick grit.

I haven't had much luck enticing her to eat - even the eggs! But she did have a little of the regular crumbles.
The person I got the ducklings from sent me home with some of the food they were used to and I thought she had said it had niacin, but I googled the name she wrote on the bag and it looks like it doesn't. Could that cause mobility issues this quickly? The descriptions of behavior all sounds like a match, but maybe too sudden to be it?
I know that wouldn't explain the clicking, but it's al ways possible that there's more than one thing going on!
