Sick duckling

Today I let out my chicks and ducklings (6 chicks and 2 ducks). When I came out a little later one of the ducklings was laying on it's side. She wasn't moving much and was covered withmud on the down side and there was dirt all over her bill. I picked her up and she didn't move around much, just sat there. She is about three weeks old now. The other thing it that I wiped the dirt off off her bill and there was little scratch marks in it. Please help me out. I don't want to lose my baby.

I'm not really sure what happened cause I wasn't over there. I was gone for about half an hour and when I came back that's what I found. I took her out of the pen and brought her back inside. She seems to be doing better. She has gotten up and moved a little, she has drank some water, and she is peeping up a storm. I think what happened was that she somehow ended up on her back in one of the holes that the chicks made and was trying to get up but just couldn't (which would explain why she wasn't moving around much, she was tired). The scratches are still a mistery to me. Maybe one of the chicks was scratching near her for bugs? I'm not sure but I just want to make sure I do everything right. I have another cage set up for the other duckling for the next day or two until she is all better and it is right next to the other one so they can still be near each other.
