I just went to close up my guineas for the night and one was making a funny almost sneezing noise after she jumped up on the perch. She didn't really resist being picked up and didn't fight when I put her in the dog crate, she just layed down. She seems to be breathing hard and you can almost feel like a click type thing everytime she breathes in when you are holding her. She is breathing with her mouth open and is trying to buckwheat but it is coming out very hoarse sounding and very quiet. There is no visible discharge from her nose or mouth. I immediately brought her in the house and put her in a dog crate with food and water, covered up the crate with a towel and turned out the light. I have some garlic, but it is rather old and dried up. Would is still do any good to give it to her or some dried garlic like you use in cooking? I have been using straight ACV in their water, about 1/4 per gallon, the water I have just put in there does not have any in it though. Any ideas?
