My Gerty is 2 1/2 ur old Buff Orpington. She has been a bit lethargic over the last few days. Follows the flock but lays down rather than peck. Her crop is nearly empty with each check and she eats very little. I am also having to administer water. She also is gasping and can’t seem to sleep due to the gasping. She has no discharge or swollen facial parts including waddles and comb. Her comb, however, does turn purple when I lift her. I’m careful not to smash her chest or abdomen.

*I’ll include a feces photo below.

My thoughts is that she has either a respiratory issue or gapeworm.

Protocol taken:
3 days on Baytril
1 Ivermectin treatment
Water with NutriDrench
Today: VetRX twice so far

Any advice would be helpful and greatly appreciated. Am I in the right track or could this be something else?

She is separated and resting indoors quietly. We are in Texas so it’s already quite hot.

I also meant to include that her vent is fine and nothing odd happening around that end.
