I have a chicken that I'm not sure what to do with her. She was perfectly normal until she ate a piece of chip or a cheese puff. The other 8 chickens are fine. She has been standing with her feathers puffy and she did poop and it appeared normal to a little runny. She kept having spasms in her vent area. I thought maybe she was waiting to lay an egg. As soon as she went into the coop she went to the nesting box and has been sleeping there since. Anyone have any thoughts

Please post in the "Emergenices/Diseases/Injures and Cures" section for the best results. Most likely, she has coccidiosis or is egg bound. Hope she get well soon.

I agree - sounds like she is egg bound and can't get it moving along
