I have a rhode island red hen that I found in the coop yesterday while collecting the eggs. She is acting very strange she can not seem to keep her head up straight it flops to the side. I tried to give her some water but she is not drinking. When I picked her up out of the coop she felt like she had not eaten ( her craugh felt empty). I placed her in a laying box for the night but she isn't doing anything. She is not walking around just sits and puts her head on the ground. I put fresh water with her but still not drinking. She shows
no signs of being attacked buy an animal. I believe she is one of my older hens which would make her about 5 years old. Not sure if anyone can help but would appreciate any input.
