Sick Hen?

Hello,
Recently, our hen was taken by a fox when laying outside on her eggs. She survived, and she had just little scratches. They got better real fast. She is now living with the rest of the flock. I just realized today, that she looks a bit sick. She is mostly laying down, doesn't run away like usual. She doesn't have discoloured comb or waddles, and she doesn't have a runny or stuffy nose. She has some ruffled feathers though. She is eating and drinking, but after the attack, she is not so broody anymore. I gave her an egg, and she did lay on it.

I am really worried about her.

Any thoughts? Is she sick?

um it seems to me something could be bothering her if she doesn't really have signs of sickness buts acting weird she could be sad or depressed did the fox take any of her babies or good hen friends or family?

Well, no. None of her eggs were taken, although we did take her eggs after we thought she had got taken away. I thought that maybe she was missing being a free range hen. I brought her outside of the run with her daughter, but she did the same thing, just lay there. I tried to open her beak and put food in it, because I realized she wasn't eating anymore. She drinks like crazy though. Every night I would put her back into the coop. She would always sleep with our goats, but I was kind of scared to leave her. but one night, I forgot to put her back in, and she spent the night with her goat friends. I now realized she is walking, eating, drinking, running and doing whatever chickens want to do! I believe she was depressed. she was just missing the outdoors. And by "outdoors" I mean outside of the run.

She is now feeling much better, thank you for your help!!
