Hi, can someone please help me?! My 1yr old muscovy hen was fine yesterday, now, when i come upon her, she trys to run, but gets two steps and collaspes with both feet stretched rigidly behind her! she is drinking but barlely eating since yesterday.... she feels light and she is weak!! this happened to one of my muscovy hens about a year ago and she died 7 days later!! she prefers to stand in one spot all day, but she does preen when not made to walk and fall. i looked up viral enteritis and botulism and it did not seem to match... stool is normal and eyes look good but very weak. does anyone know what i can do? i have no avian vets around me in fairfield,nj... thanks for any info.
