A little research on your part would be helpful. Applying Ivermec topically will kill lice but its effectiveness is very limited to internal parasites because of the previous overuse and mistreatment over the years. For years people have been diluting it in water to the point that worms have developed resistance. Worms have become more and more immune to Ivermectin in birds. On the other hand, its effectiveness has been proven in many countries against covid, even bringing an end to the plandemec in India and many other countries where the governments have been dispensing it to the masses.

I’ve used the ivermectin as that’s all I could get. The vets here are to lazy to help, only interested in cats & dogs which is where they make their money! Papas eye has improved but his balance is still shocking and he walks like an old man. His not eating as much as he normally would, although still eating a fair amount as I free feed all my birds.
I keep papa in my winter home with a heater set to 22 degrees, as it’s a large wooden structure with a thatched roof. This seems to have helped. I don’t know what else I can do at this stage. The only real improvement I saw was when he was on the Tylan 200, he even managed to climb back to his favorite roost, on top of our cottage roof. Very frustrated at papa decline and seeing him like this with no real professional help. Thank you all for your valued advice.

Keeping him warm is very important, you could provide him with a heat lamp? The Ivermec is a great drug for covid but it is not very effective against worms in birds. I guess it is better than nothing.

Ivomec is NOT a great drug for Covid. It can actually do harm. Its a wormer and will work fine for round worms in peacocks. Cannot believe that someone would politicize a response about a sick bird.
