Well, our rabbit that went odd last week is doing much better and standing on her own. Still can't find any injuries, no infections, just bizarre. All we can figure out is that she somehow hurt herself and couldn't get around so she didn't get to drink or eat and ended up with heat stress before we noticed anything was wrong ... but that's all just a guess. We have her inside still in a cage where she is quiet but have been taking her outside in the mornings and letting her out in a pen in the grass. She's been moving herself around by pushing with her legs and holding her head up straight. She's still eating and drinking great. Today when we put her out she got muddy so my husband bathed her in warm water and when he put her back in her cage she stood upright for the first time in a week. Even my dad who raised rabbits for many many years and breeded several state champions couldn't figure out what was wrong with her. I guess we'll just chalk it up to mystery and be glad she's getting better. I just don't want it to happen to any of my other rabbits.
