Wow, that's not cool, I think I would be pissed!

Baytril should not be given in the water because it's very bitter and most sick birds won't drink water medicated with it. It also shouldn't be mixed with tap water because it can bind with the calcium in hard water which will make it less effective. :barnie

How many metronidazole did you get?

Surprisingly the turkeys are drinking it just fine. I also use filtered water anytime I give my animals medication thru water.
She gave me around 10 metronidazole pills. 1 pill per gallon.

I don't know what to say. :thThe metronidazole dose is no less than 14 mg per pound bodyweight once a day for five days and the Baytril dose is no less than 9.1 mg per pound of bodyweight for 5 days.

The metronidazole is 250mg per pill. She told me to crush it and put it in a gallon of water once to twice a day.🤷🏻‍♀️
Hard to find a good vet out here that knows anything about birds.

How much should I give?
The older males are 8 pounds
Older hens 6 pounds
Younger males 2.5 pounds
Younger hens 1.5 pounds
