Sick turkey

My daughter has a pet turkey he walks like he's drunk when she can even get him up. When he tries to eat or drink anything it's like his depth perception is off he pecks at his food and water but never gets to it. ( He stops short like it's closer than it appears) then sometimes he puts his head straight in the air and almost circles. Not sure what to do we tried finding a vet bit the closest vet is almost 2 hours away and they couldn't see him till tomorrow and not sure he'll make it that long. Has anyone else ever had this problem and would possibly know how to treat this if it's treatable?

It sounds like either a head injury, or he can't see well. How's he doing?

He's still with us but still not good she is giving him poltry electrolytes and smashing up pellet food with water. He was fine the day before the eclipse he actually chases me he don't like my shoes. Next day he straight down hill

That is strange, I have no good advice unfortunately, hopefully he improves over time, it's a good sign that he's hanging in there. Maybe he flew into something in a panic and conked his head, or maybe he looked into the sun. Poor boy.

How old and what breed? Any change in feed lately? Do you have any other birds?

1 1)2-2 years old. Ducks but there separated

Heritage breed or broad-breasted? Any change in feed. Any chance he could've gotten into or ahold of something?

Not sure on breed he's black and white. Same feed and surrounding for about a year.

So far so good he has been doing well!!! Don't know what happened to him but he seems to be doing well
