We had gotten two turkey poults about 2 months ago. All was fine and they were growing well up until two weeks ago. The male became lethargic and developed diarrhea that was a chrome yellow color. There had been no changes in their diet at all. He died the next day. For a while it seemed that the female was doing fine. But two days ago she too became lethargic and developed the chrome colored diarrhea. She has not died yet but is hardly breathing and will not move, drink or eat. I am totally devastated because they had become my pets. We are novices at raising turkeys. Does anyone have any idea what could have befallen my turkeys ?
