My wife and I have 3 backyard chickens that are now a year old. We have a white leghorn, silver laced wyandote, and a bard rock. The white leghorn has been at the top of the pecking order but recently got into the neighbors yard and ate some sort of chemical in the granular form. I'm not sure what is was but needless to say she was sick for a few days. She had runny/watery poop and didn't move too much. She continued to lay but has since stopped. She is no longer at the top of the pecking order. I am curious if her not laying has anything to do with what she ate or if it is simply the social dynamic shifting.
She is feeling much better now but is still at the bottom of the order. It has been week and a half since her last egg.
Thanks
